March Meeting

Welcome back to our Monthly Meetings!

It was lovely to see so many of our friends again and to start off meetings with a smile!

Although it was “slim pickings” for flowers and plants after so many “Winter Surprises” of snow and cold weather, we did our best!

The Lucky Draw, plants & books for sale, Parlour Show and even one bloom showed up! No matter… the best part was getting back
together, thinking about the Spring gardening to come, and socializing!

Melanie G’s winning “Parlour Show Plant” was a Pelargonium, nurtured delightfully from last year’s Growing Competition. It showed off a wonderful bushy appearance after spending a winter on a sunny windowsill.

Ron K. showed us how well the cuttings he demonstrated back at the October meeting have grown.

Lidy spruced up the Tea Table with a yummy cake celebrating  this month’s  St. Patrick’s Day.  (Wish I would have thought to bring my Shamrock plant for the table!)

A big CONGRATULATIONS goes to  Lorne and Sally I. for 15 years as members!  Hip! Hip! Hooray!
